The Story of St. Thomas –A Journey from Doubt to Devotion
Thomas was one of the twelve disciples chosen by Jesus, a man of deep passion and raw honesty. Unlike the other apostles, who often accepted Christ’s teachings without hesitation, Thomas was a thinker, a man who wanted to understand, to see, and to touch. His skepticismdid not stem from lack of faith but from a desire for certainty—a quality that would later define his strength rather than his weakness.
 
After Christ’s resurrection, when the other disciples claimed to have seen the risen Lord, Thomas refused to believe without direct evidence. His words, recorded in the Gospel of John, would be remembered for generations:
 
"Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe."–John 20:25
