Dream Haunter - 2oz .999 High Relief Silver Coin 2000 Francs CFA Cameroon 2024

Gold and Silver Bullion Canada is proud to present a new amazing product signed Lithuanian Mint. The spectacular silver “Dream Haunter” coin is decorated with the image of the mythical creature Gargoyle. These creatures were used to decorate the walls of buildings. Their jaws were a kind of ancient rain gutter, directing rainwater away from the masonry and protecting it from erosion. Some saw these beings as the embodiment of evil, whose purpose was to hurt people. Others thought them to be a counterweight to evil, warding off evil forces and protecting everyone on Earth from suffering.

To serve humanity or to terrify it?

No one has yet been able to solve the mystery of where this mysterious silver coin came from. This is where the horrifying tale of the Gargoyle starts. Are you brave enough to explore a story full of gruesome details? Finding out what really happened could cost you your life, but maybe the truth is worth the risk?

In a medieval town, there was a grand building. A menacing stone figure appeared to be suspended in midair, protruding from its walls. On sunny days, its shadow would fall on the ground, revealing a grim, terrifying face – not human, not animal, not the mythical, devil-like creatures painted by artists who were fond of the theme of hell. Every time people passed this building, they didn’t dare raise their eyes to the sky. Some would deliberately pick up their pace, while others would raise their hat and pause for a second, as if to honour someone. And a moment later, they would go about their business again in a hurry. No one in that town ever dared to look up and face the stone monster hanging over the building.

If the townspeople had to pass by this place at night, they would try to avoid it in any way they could, taking a detour to escape the terrifying creature. People whispered that it was at night that the monster came to life and flew over their houses, wings spread wide. Later, at dawn, when the first rooster crowed, the ghastly creature turned to stone and its shadow once again frightened the townsfolk and passers-by.

The town and the neighbouring villages were once struck by a powerful storm. A torrent of rain came down and the bright day became night. The rain was so heavy that the river broke its banks, threatening to drown all that was alive and all that was dead – to wash the buildings off the face of the earth as in the Great Flood. The people prepared for the worst – some prayed to the highest powers to save them, others surrendered and waited for their final breath. Suddenly, a pillar of fire glowed where the building with the menacing stone creature stood. The sound of rushing water and an explosion made the whole town and the surrounding villages think it was the end of the world. But the storm immediately subsided, the deluge of rain was replaced by sunshine, and the smell of mountain flowers filled the air.

The next day, a local man was walking past the town’s grandest building and accidentally knocked a round silver object on the ground with his foot. When he bent down to pick it up, he saw that it was a silver coin. The reverse of the coin featured the Gargoyle, whose figure had hung on the most famous building for centuries. When he looked up, he saw that there was nothing on the building.
