This wonderful Silver coin is the third release in the “Dark Beauties” series, dedicated to some of the most important personalities in mythology inspired by the incredibly detailed fantasy illustrations “Soma” by Christopher Lovell.
 
The reverse of the coin depicts the beautiful profile of Anastasiya, the personification of mortality, with a wonderful vintage print colouration.
 
The obverse of the coin portrays the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: “ELIZABETH II” – the name of the Queen, “NIUE” – the issuing country, “TWO DOLLARS” – the face value and “2020” – the year of issue.
 
Christopher Lovell is a UK based artist and he considers himself lucky to be a child of the 80s. His influences started very early in his childhood, where he developed a deep interest in fantasy and sci-fi. The toys, cartoons and movies of the era left him spellbound, fueling his imagination, which inspires him still to this day.
