This 2023 $500 coin is one of the largest and most impressive renditions of Canada's iconic silver maple leaf coin ever produced. Featuring intricate detail, exceptional relief, an 18-centimetre diameter and a fine silver weight of five kilograms, Walter Ott's iconic design has been enhanced and massively enlarged to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Canada's first silver maple leaf coin. For collectors, the beauty is also matched by rarity, with only 150 coins issued for Canada and the world.
 
The obverse features additional maple leaves and lacy vines forming an intricate wreath that helps frame the posthumous effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. The coin comes displayed in a prestigious wood case with a drawer containing the certificate of authenticity and a booklet about the coin.
