The Royal Canadian Mint announced the most recent coin in its Canadian Wildlife Series, the 2012 1oz Canadian Silver Moose in brilliant, uncirculated condition and this beautiful coin follows a tradition of excellence in showcasing Canada’s breathtaking wildlife.
 
Sculpted by the Royal Canadian Mint’s Senior Engraver, William Woodruff, each coin is produced in 1 oz of .9999 fine silver, and bears a denomination of $5, they are considered as legal tender, but their intrinsic value in silver bullion and collectibility dwarfs their face value.

The observe features the Canadian Silver Moose, engraved majestically. The moose’s mature set of antlers fills the top of the coin, labeled with the words “CANADA” at the top and “9999 FINE SILVER ONE OZ ARGENT PUR.”
 
The reverse honors Australia’s Queen Elizabeth II, her portrait in the center and the rim bears the words “ELIZABETH II,” and “5 DOLLARS 2012.”
