2009 Australian Year of the Ox 1 Kg Silver Bullion Coins in capsule in mint condition, Very rare coin

I already apologize for the quality of the actual photos, these pieces are kept in storage in their capsule and in vacuum packaging to protect them from natural discoloration of the silver when exposed to air

The Perth Mint in Western Australia has decided to synchronise its gold and silver Lunar Calendar bullion coin series. Because its gold series started in 1996, and its silver series did not start until 1999, the two series are three years out of phase with each other. Obviously, the coins relate to their correct years, but the start and end of the coins cycle is different. To correct this, the Perth Mint have decided to issue the 2008 Year of the Rat, 2009 Year of the Ox, and 2010 Year of the Tiger silver coins between 23rd July 2007 and 31st August 2007.

Dual Dated
The obverses of these coins are dated 2007, the actual year of issue, while the reverse shows the main Lunar Calendar date 2009 Year of the Ox Dates. The Chinese year 4705 is the year of the Ox, and runs from January 26th 2009 to February 13th 2010.

In 1992, the Perth Mint introduced large silver bullion coins, in weights of two ounce, ten ounces and one kilogramme (31.1 ounces). For lunar silver coins, there is also a half ounce version, a 5 ounce, and a half kilo. This years "Chinese Lunar Year" series is available in only three weights, the one ounce, two ounce and one kilo.
