Gods, a new series by Germania Mint

Powerful, majestic and fearless… such were the Germanic gods who created the world and boldly ruled it. Descended from primordial giants, they created a system in which there was room for humans and other beings. They formed the solid land, the ocean, mountains, seas and forests, the sky, clouds, sun and moon. They determined day and night, the length of the year and its seasons. The heroes of the new series of Silver Cast Bars from Germania Mint will bring you to a realm full of masculine strength, power and triumph. These are the characters who have imprinted themselves on the fate of the world, leading up to its end, Ragnarok. Gods Silver Cast Bars from Germania Mint, with a unique design, are created from 999.9 silver, marked with an individual number and mint mark. Gods: Freyr 2 oz Ag 999.9 Cast Bar

Freyr, the twin brother of Freya, is the god of vegetation, harvest, fertility and peace, but also the patron of marriage and prosperity. He was called the noblest god, loved by all.

His attribute was a magic sword that could fight on its own, as well as the golden boar Gullinbursti, which could run faster than any horse and glowed in the dark.

According to belief, he gave up his sword to win the heart of his beloved giantess Groi, which consequently led to his death at the hands of the ruler of the Flaming Giants during Ragnarök.

Gods: Týr 2 oz Ag 999.9 Cast Bar

Týr is revered as the divine patron of combat, valor, and justice. He is often referred to as the “one-armed god” due to the loss of his hand during a daring attempt to subdue the wolf Fenrir.

Anticipating the threat posed by Fenrir, the gods enlisted the dwarves to forge a net, both delicate and incredibly strong. In a ruse to ensnare Fenrir, the gods proposed that he allow himself to be bound by the net, but the wolf consented only on the condition that a deity place a hand in his mouth as a sign of trust. Upon realizing he had been tricked, Fenrir retaliated by biting off Týr ’s hand, who had bravely volunteered for the perilous task.

In the lore of Germanic mythology, it is foretold that during Ragnarok, the end of the world, Týr will confront Garm, the ferocious guardian of the underworld realm of Hel. This epic battle is destined to end with both combatants perishing.

Gods: Baldur 2 oz Ag 999.9 Cast Bar

Baldur, son of Odin and Frigg, is the god of light, beauty, goodness and wisdom. He was considered the most beautiful and favorite of the gods. He symbolized brightness and life, being the personification of all that is pure and beautiful in the world. He had light skin, hair and eyelashes, which emphasized his unique beauty.

He was killed as a result of Loki’s intrigue, and after his death he was taken to the grim realm of Hel. There, eternal feasting and wealth awaited him.

Baldur received the bracelet “Draupnir” from his father. According to legend, with it he was to be resurrected during Ragnarok, and become the highest of the gods.
