Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China, ruled from 221 to 210 BCE. He was a powerful leader who unified China and established the Qin Dynasty. One of his most enduring legacies is the Terracotta Army, accidently discovered 50 years ago by a local farmer near Xi’an. The army was created to accompany and protect Qin Shi Huang in the afterlife. It consists of over 8,000 life-sized
terracotta soldiers, horses, and chariots, each individually crafted with remarkable detail.
