This exquisite 1 Oz Silver coin is part of the AmericArt series, and commemorates the Space Shuttle Challenger, which was destroyed in January 1986 soon after launch in a disaster that killed all seven crewmembers aboard. This Silver coin has a vivid coloration, and comes in a case along with a Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 200 pieces worldwide!
 
The reverse of this Silver coin features a breathtaking depiction of the Space Shuttle Challenger lifting off into the sky, with flames and smoke billowing from its boosters. The background features the American flag, symbolizing national pride and the pioneering spirit of space exploration. On the reverse, also the inscriptions: LIBERTY - the American value, IN GOD WE TRUST - the official motto of the United States, and 2025 – the year of issue.
 
The obverse of this Silver coin depicts the American bald eagle with an oak branch in its talons. All around it, the inscriptions: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - the issuing country, 1 OZ.
