The reverse of the coin features the Monkey Girl, a famous character in the tales for kids. The girl with monkey is a symbol of how much childhood is the time of joy and discovery.
 
The obverse of the coin depicts, in the center of the design, the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, with all around, the inscriptions: “ELIZABETH II” – the name of the Queen, “NIUE” – the issuing country, “1 DOLLAR” – the face value, “2022” – the year of issue and “Ag 999” – the fineness of the Silver.
