Responsible for preparing its popular Krabby Patty, SpongeBob’s life revolves around a wacky ensemble of marine characters – customers, co-workers, friends, and rivals – with whom he shares many madcap adventures. In this absurd world, where his home is a pineapple shared with a pet snail that meows like a cat, the animated chronicles of the optimistic and enthusiastic yellow sea sponge represent an undisguised celebration of innocent nonsense.
Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.

Marking 25 years of the much-loved television series, the coin’s reverse portrays the lovable SpongeBob SquarePants with his arms aloft, and the official ‘SPONGEBOB’ 25-year anniversary logo. Additional motifs include underwater bubbles and jelly fish, which SpongeBob enjoys catching with a net.
 
The obverse features the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III. Also included are the coin’s weight, purity, monetary denomination, and 2024 year-date.
