The Mask of Tutankhamun is minted in authentic and detailed High Relief – its design is surrounded by other treasures that were found in the tomb.
To enhance the mystery of the pharaos’ famous tomb, the treasury is covered with 24K Gold Plated puzzle pieces – just as the treasury was hidden in the tomb for hundreds of years!
Complex Minting to create one masterpiece: The 5 Gold Plated puzzle pieces are irregular-shaped and feature Egyptian hieroglyphics!
 
Forever immortalized in an ingenious and quite massive silver coin is one of the most famous and recognized Egyptian artifacts, the death mask of Pharaoh Tutankhamun. This 1/2 Kilogram silver coin is made up of 6 individual components.  It begins with an intricately designed and minted centerpiece with a deep antique finish.  It is then surrounded by five movable gold plated vanes that are also rich in Egyptian Hieroglyph engravings.
 
The entire presentation measures a giant 120 mm and is struck from 99.9% pure silver.  Tutankhamun's Puzzle coins are a legal tender issue of Djibouti and are limited to just 500 pieces in total production.
 
Background:
Tutankhamun's mask, or funerary mask of Tutankhamun, is the death mask of the 18th dynasty ancient Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun (reigned 1332 - 1323 BC). It was discovered by Howard Carter in 1925 in tomb KV62 and is now housed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The mask is one of the most well known works of art in the world.
