Gold and Silver Bullion Canada is very proud to present a beautiful coin offered by Carpathian Mint. This coin features a beautiful high relief engraving on both the reverse and the obverse and tells a sobering story with both sides.

Set in a post-apocalyptic city, devoid of humans, showing a child's robotic companion, standing on a ruined school bus, gazing sadly at a child's stuffed animal floating on the flood waters that have engulfed the city. Nature has already begun to reclaim the city, with plant life appearing everywhere amidst the devastation. The title of the piece is incorporated into the scene on a pair of signposts, rather than being written throughout the design.
 
The scene in the foreground is highlighted by the vivid color with UV technology, over a background in antique finish. The obverse is also finished in antique, and depicts what could be a cause of destruction to human society, nuclear weapons. The hand that flipped the switch is that of a robot, controlled by an artificial intelligence, suggesting that we may have created a system to help us manage our society, which then decided it would be better off without us.
