First Silver coin dedicated to the ghost ship Mary Celeste. The Mary Celeste was a British-American merchant brigantine famous for having been discovered on 4 December 1872 in the Atlantic Ocean. Mintage limited to 1.000 pieces worldwide.
 
The reverse depicts the Mary Celeste over the sea with its captain beside. On the bottom of the reverse, the inscription: “Mary Celeste” - the ship name and “Ghost Ship” - the name of the series.
 
The obverse depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: “Niue” – the issue country, “2013” – the issue year, “One Dollar” - the face value.
