The reverse of the coin presents a wonderful and detailed Hight Relief image of the Parthenon and a beautiful mineral stone insert. On the bottom of the reverse, the inscription: "GREECE" – the name of the coin.
 
The obverse of the coin depicts a different view of the Parthenon and the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. All around the obverse, the inscriptions: "2 DOLLARS" – the face value, "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen, "NIUE ISLAND" – the issuing country, "2018" – the year of issue and "IMPERIAL ART" – the name of the series.
