That legacy of peace and international cooperation is reflected on the reverse of this 5 oz. 99.99% pure silver coin from the Royal Canadian Mint, where the yellow gold-plated Ultra-High Relief (UHR) portrait radiates hope for a peaceful and prosperous future.

New for 2024: Yellow gold plating. Each coin features yellow gold plating on its obverse and reverse, where the uplifting colour has been combined with Ultra-High Relief (UHR) and a special field pattern to create a truly dynamic, high-contrast design.

The allegory is backed by a new field pattern featuring a stylized maple leaf and ribbon, both inspired by Lady Peace’s uniquely Canadian headpiece.
