The ‘Forget Me Not’ coin is the 5th issue in the ‘High Relief Flowers and Leaves’ series. Using the enhanced ultra high relief Smartminting©️ technology makes the Forget Me Not pop out of the coin. Small Forget Me Not flowers in the background finish the design. The coin is partly colored and struck on a piedfort 2 oz .999 Silver 38.61mm blank in the highest quality. There is a limited mintage of only 999 pcs worldwide and comes in a beautiful box with a Certificate of Authenticity. Do not miss this 5th release in the series before they are gone.
 
The reverse of the coin depicts the Forget Me Not flower in full original colors. In the background are dozens of small Forget Me Not flowers in relief that complement the design. Inscription “Forget Me Not” (the name of the coin) at the bottom and “2023” (the year of issue) at the top.
 
The obverse side of the coin depicts the standard Coat of Arms of the Republic of Palau with the inscriptions: “REPUBLIC OF PALAU” (the issuing country) and “10$” (the face value).
 
Forget Me Not official biological Latin name is Myosotis. Its name comes from ancient Greece μυοσωτίς “mouse’s ear” because the leaves resemble these. Today these beautiful tiny blue flowers are commonly known as Forget Me Not flowers. Forget Me Not flowers have various meanings and mainly symbolize true love and memories. They are often added to gifts as decoration in the hope the receiver doesn’t forget the giver. In Newfoundland, Canada, the flower is worn on 1st of July in memory of those fallen in World War I. It is also the official flower of Alaska, USA and Dalsland in Sweden. There are also various references in the bible, including one where Christ Child was sitting on Mary’s lap and wished that future generations could see her eyes. When he touched here eyes and waves his hand over the ground blue Forget Me Nots appeared.
