This coin is a good representation of a small Chameleon that changes colour thanks to the Thermochromic effect, which, depending on its body temperature, makes it totally change. The coin has an Antique Finish quality and comes in a box, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 1.499 pieces worldwide!
 
The reverse of the coin shows this curious little reptile: the Chameleon. The change of colour in these animals has the function of camouflage, but above all of social signalling, to make those of its species aware of its mood, and reaction to temperature.
 
The obverse of the coin features the Barbados Coat of Arms and the inscriptions: “BARBADOS” - the country of issue, “5 DOLLARS” - the face value and “2023” - the year of issue.
