This beautiful 1 Oz Silver coin celebrates the Yambaru National Park, one of Japan's most stunning natural reserves. The coin features a vivid coloration depicting the Okinawa rail, a rare bird species native to the region, and comes in a case along with a Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of 40.000 pieces worldwide.
 
The reverse side depicts a colored image of the Okinawa rail in its natural habitat with a scenic view of a waterfall in Yambaru National Park in the background. All around, the inscriptions: "日本国" – meaning Japan, the issuing country, and "千円" – meaning 1000 Yen, the face value. At the bottom, the inscription: "Yambaru National Park" - is highlighted in English and Japanese.
 
The obverse side features the National Parks of Japan logo with a beautiful gradational color representing the mist-shrouded scenery typical of Japan. All around, the inscriptions: "国立公園制度100年" – celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Japan's National Park system, "1000 YEN" – the face value, and "令和6年" – the name of Reiwa Emperor Naruhito and the year of the reign.
