Gold and Silver Bullion Canada is very proud to present you another amazing Giant Dinosaurs coin. In this edition, The famous Pteranodon is a genus of pterosaur that included some of the largest known flying reptiles, with P. longiceps having a wingspan of over 6 m (20 ft). They lived during the late Cretaceous geological period of North America in present-day Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, South Dakota and Alabama. More fossil specimens of Pteranodon have been found than any other pterosaur, with about 1,200 specimens known to science, many of them well preserved with nearly complete skulls and articulated skeletons. It was an important part of the animal community in the Western Interior Seaway.  Limited mintage to only 1999 ocs Worldwide!
 
The reverse of the coin reproduces the incredible front view of the marvellous Stegosaurus. This coin features a new Bi-Metal Premium technique: 145 g Copper merged with two 5 g Silver toppings to an impressively sized coin, finished with an Ultra high Relief for a maximum effect. On the reverse of the coin, the inscription: "PTERANODON" – the name of the coin and "2024" – the year of issue.
 
All around the obverse, miniatures of the most know dinosaurs, with the Coat of Arms of Vanuatu and the inscriptions: "RIPABLIK VANUATU BLONG" – the issuing country and "10 VATU" – the face value.
