This amazing 3 Oz Silver coin is the first issue in the new “Great Greek Mythology” series, featuring the most famous characters of Greek mythology. In this issue: Poseidon. The coin has a beautiful design with High Relief and selective Gilding. It comes in a gorgeous wooden case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of 333 pieces worldwide.
 
The reverse of the coin depicts an incredibly detailed image of Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea and rivers, creator of storms and floods, and the bringer of earthquakes and destruction. The god is holding a Gilded trident in his right hand and is surrounded by various sea creatures. At the bottom, the inscription: “POSEIDON” – the name of the coin.
 
The obverse of the coin features an image of the Olympus, surrounded by a laurel wreath and the typical Greek pattern. The deisgn also incorporates the inscriptions: “REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN” – the country of issue, “3000 FRANCS CFA” – the face value, “3OZ” – the weight of the coin and “Ag 999” – the fineness of the Silver.
