Aletai is a rare subgroup of iron meteorites found in China, named after Aletai county, where a local farmer first discovered them in a mountain valley. With MINT XXI, an Aletai meteorite from outer space passed through the atmosphere and landed on the 70 mm silver coin with an antique finish.
 
The product consists of a coin with a spiral reverse and a 500 g Aletai cube that show the massive changes a meteorite can make on Earth. The 1 kg Space Cube coin comes in minimalistic geometric packaging with separate sections for the coin as a stand and the Aletai cube. The box is decorated with the gold foil logo in the middle, and all sides recreate the meteorite's structure with mat lacquer application.
