Bringing awe, power and fortune, the eight celestial dragons surround the Buddha in a display of protection, admiration and obedience. Being the most powerful celestial being in Feng Shui, the design with eight dragons is forged to symbolise wealth and fortune in the auspicious number of “eight”.
 
According to the legend in the Lotus Sutra, there were eight dragon kings who attended the very first preaching of the sutra by the Buddha. Each dragon king was accompanied by several hundreds of thousands of followers. In Japanese folk lore, the eight dragon kings were respectfully called “hachidai-ryou” in a similar tale.
 
This majestic, timeless piece has been beautifully hand-crafted to rest calmly on the palm of one’s hand. Sculptured with much fine, intricate details as the dragons gaze longingly onto the Buddha, feel the power that this treasure piece brings.
 
Each of the limited-edition, finely crafted 1oz 999 silver coins are struck in a new minting technique called “Bi-Metal Reverse”, which combines 1 oz of 999 fine silver as the base layer together with a top layer of 6.0 oz of copper. This results in a super ultra-high relief that is matched with an antiqued silver or gold finishing after. This technique allows the coin to have an incredible feel in the hand together with its size.
