The Royal Canadian Mint provides us with a unique opportunity to discover and view closely rich and fascinating fauna of the maple leaf country with the help of incredible silver coins included in the “Canadian Wildlife” series.

Represented on the obverse, there is a profile portrait of the Queen Elizabeth II. Besides the Queen’s effigy there are the engravings denoting face value of the silver coin, the issuing year etc.

The reverse design of the Canadian coin features the coloured image of graceful Pronghorn Antelope in the field covered with emerald green grass. Pronghorn antelope (Antilocapra americana) is a North American mammal of artiodactyls, it is the fastest land animal in the Western Hemisphere, only giving way before the speed of African cheetah. The antelope can be found on open plains and prairies, grassy wormwood and low shrubby areas and deserts. Pronghorn antelope commonly leaves in the southern Alberta and southern Saskatchewan River areas of Canada. This awesome realistically coloured silver proof coin is a real boon to all wildlife lovers.
